ชื่อของฉันนั้นคือ “พิไลวรรณ”
มีความหมายดีเลิศประเสริฐศรี
พระตั้งให้วันนั้นเป็นวันดี
ความหมายมีเช่นไรใคร่อธิบาย
“พิไล” ให้ความหมายอันเสนาะ
ฟังไพเราะเสนาะจิตมิห่างหาย
มีสง่าราศีทั้งใจกาย
เพราะความหมายของ“พิไล”ไซร้คือ“งาม”
“วรรณ” มาจากภาษาสันสกฤต
ท่านพินิจคงคิดว่าน่าเกรงขาม
จึงนำมาร่วมคล้องพ้องกับ “งาม”
ความหมายตาม “งามดั่งทอง” ผ่องอำไพ
อนาคตเหมือนชื่อก็คือคด
จะให้ตรงเสียหมดคงมิได้
หากวันหน้าอยากอยู่อย่างสบาย
จงอย่าได้ทำตนเป็นคนทราม
ภายใต้จิตที่หวังหยั่งลึกอยู่
พิเคราะห์ดูตรึกตรองตามคำถาม
ให้คำตอบต่อท่านอย่างรู้ความ
มีอยู่สามตามหวังยังอีกไกล
อันความหวังที่หยั่งลึกประการแรก
อาจไม่แผกแปลกหลายท่านหรอกใช่ไหม
อาชีพแพทย์คือความหวังที่ตั้งใจ
ขอดำเนินเดินต่อไปด้วยใจสู้
การเป็นแพทย์ต้องดูแลต้องบำบัด
เพื่อกำจัดความทุกอยู่ทุกผู้
เมตตาปรานีนั้นมีอยู่
ลำบากรู้อยู่แก่ใจแต่ไม่หวั่น
สิ่งที่หวังหยั่งลึกประการต่อมา
ฉันฝันว่าเอกอัคราชทูตคือตัวฉัน
จะทำให้ฝันเป็นจริงในสักวัน
ตัวของฉันพิไลวรรณเป็นท่านทูต
สิ่งที่หวังหยั่งลึกประการสุดท้าย
ขอให้ได้เป็นจริงเพื่อพิสูจน์
นางพยาบาลอยากจะเป็นอย่างที่พูด
ได้ใส่สูทพยาบาลสาวขาวดูดี
ขอรับใช้ใต้เบื้องพระยุคลบาท
รับใช้ชาติศาสน์กษัตริย์มีศักดิ์ศรี
ขอทำงานแลตั้งตนเป็นคนดี
ปฐพีมีนารีศรีแผ่นดิน
